The Surf Coast community is gearing up to celebrate the festive season at tomorrow’s Torquay Carols by the Sea.
The popular event will be held at Elephant Walk from 4pm onwards and facilitated by the City on a Hill Christian Church.
Event organiser and pastor Louis Glazebrook said the 5,000 who turned out in 2022 could be topped this year.
“We are super thankful for how it’s all come together so far. We’ve got every Protestant Church in Torquay contributing to the event and the Salvos are bringing their brass band as well. The food vendors are also pumped.
“We are back on the Esplanade this year, and the setting and scenery will no doubt be amazing.
“We hope we can share the story of Christmas in a special way.”

Locals can also sing at various festive favourites including Carols on the Lorne – December 16, Deans Marsh Twilight Carols – December 17 and Anglesea Carols by Candlelight – December 22.
